Braniel Community Church (BCC) began as part of a vision to see more and more communities in our land impacted with the love of Jesus. Our main values are to invite people to hope, heal and belong.
Our first church leader, Susan McFarland, began to establish this new work in the Braniel Estate in 2014. James Crockett, our current leader, took up the role in January 2020.
During our gathering on Sundays, we have a time of worship, prayer and biblical teaching, and the chance to catch up with others and encourage each other as followers of Jesus. We value children and young people – they are very much a part of the service and we invite them to connect with God through the worship and teaching.
We meet every Sunday morning at 11.30am. We seek to love God more and to spread His love and goodness across this City. Our dream is to see this community and its people flourish as they live out the purpose and plans that God has over them.
We have a play area for little ones which still allows parents to see and hear all that is going on (… we don’t mind noise!)
We have an open door policy: everyone is welcome … that includes you!
Tea/coffee and treats are served before and after service.
Watch this space for our plans for kids’ ministry as we begin new activities this autumn!
Children and families are always welcome when we gather on Sundays.
You matter to Jesus and we want to encourage you.
If you are a young person, you are always more than welcome when we gather on Sundays at 11.30am.
We hope to return to youth activities in person as soon as possible, and we’d love to see you there!
Braniel Community Church is led by James Crockett, assisted by a committee from our membership. We’re a church planted through the Church of Ireland’s Diocese of Down and Dromore.
